Meet Our Instructors
John Parks, LMT, CLT
is a founding partner of Summit Instructors and a licensed massage therapist in Tennessee with 29 years of experience in the massage industry and education. John is an approved NCBTMB Provider and an approved provider of Massage Therapy Law and Ethics with the state of Tennessee.
A 1998 graduate of Northwest Massage School in Las Vegas, Nevada, John continues to contribute to the profession through leadership and service. He is a board member and elected delegate for the AMTA Tennessee Chapter.
Synthia Waggoner, LMT
is a founding partner of Summit Instructors and a licensed massage therapist in Tennessee with over two decades of experience in massage therapy and education. Synthia is a Tennessee Board Approved Continuing Education Provider and teaches courses in both in-person and online formats.
A 2003 graduate of C.O.R.E. Institute of Massage Therapy in Knoxville, Tennessee, Synthia has remained active in the profession while drawing on her background in early childhood and elementary education. Her combined experience as both a clinician and educator supports engaging, practical, and effective learning experiences for massage therapists.
